  1. This is important.

So I finally dragged myself out to church for the first time in a long time, with my sister, last Sunday. We stuck out like sore thumbs that were 20 years younger than the rest of the congregation. Whatever.

The point is that we sang a hymn I’d never heard of before (Deep in the darkness we begin,) and guess what tune it was sung to?

Like, I didn’t even know it was an actual Thing.

We weren’t even two bars into the tinned organ introduction before my sister and I turned to each other on cue and hissed “LITTLE WOMEN!” like we were going to shit ourselves and then had to try to keep a lid on the fangirling because apparently church is not exactly the place.

Sister is closing in on age thirty and I’m not too far behind, and we’ve only really proven here (and in other…incidents) that without our mother around we totally can’t behave ourselves in reverent settings.

    Oops.
